Chakras are mystical energy dimensions located throughout the human body and working on them brings significant physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual benefits. Even though there are a total of 114 Chakras in the human body, the 7 that are commonly referred to are actually 7 dimensions which are the basis for the seven schools of yoga. Out of the 114, 2 are present outside the physical body and of the remaining 112, only 108 can actually be worked upon. The remaining four just activate as a result. Working with one’s seven chakras through meditation, is a well known method to practice spiritual wellness.
Each of the seven dimensions consist of 16 aspects and each Chakra itself contains more than one dimension. One being their physical existence, and the other being a spiritual dimension. Hence, they can be completely transformed by bringing in the right kind of awareness.
